Welcome to my blog! I am a stamp addict who has become obsessed with Mixed Media techniques and learning new techniques! I’m trying to learn how to draw and paint using books and social media. I love creating cards and mixed media projects for others and my family. I blog to keep a record of my progress.
shared how I coloured white card with white acrylic gesso on my post on
Saturday, see here, this time I did the same thing but with white acrylic paint
instead of gesso. I did not heat the
birds after they had been initially stamped and embossed because I wanted to
keep these birds a little smoother, although they still have fantastic texture
but not quite so bubbly - I left them to dry naturally this time.
was lucky enough to win the voucher over at Simon Says Stamps challenge at the
end of January. I was very, very careful
before placing an order because there is always so many things that are new
that I, as a crafter, always want lol! I
ended up ordering stamps, of course, and the sentiment that I used on this one
is from one of their sentiment stamps set.
I’m very impressed with the quality of their clear stamps and I love the
different sentiments and words that they offer.
This set of stamps will get used a lot!
Thank you so much for taking
the time to visit and comment. I really
do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do over
the coming week ttfn Karen x
