Lots of lovely depth and texture
All the yummy details

And of course there had to be Antedote and Fairy Dust!
A final look

Created for me and especially for these Challenges

I used the colours from the photograph but added in richer shades of them too

Simon Says Stamps Monday Challenge A Walk on the Dark Side

I used Tim Holtz Distress Oxides

I was lucky enough recently to win the challenge at Paperbabe stamps and whilst browsing the shop I found this gorgeous set of stamps and a matching stencil that I just had to have to play with it, lol! Kim has designed a set of stamps that can be used to create pretty girly cards which have perfume and potions in the bottles or a lovely CAS card which is all about the fairy dust bottle or to create a mixed media project which has a love potion stamped on it, or a home décor item or as I have a shelf of witches potions on a mucky mixed media tag and my goodness I really really enjoyed creating this tag. The background is collage paper the bottles were stamped onto white card which I coloured with a mix of H2O watercolours, Brusho Crystal Watercolours and Distress Oxides. I used the the Bottle Of stencil to add the vapours coming off from the back bottles and applied crackle paint to the bottles once they were stamped, coloured and fussy cut.

I then put it together in a way that was pleasing to me and had a good ole chuckle once I had finished. It cheered me up in so many ways to create a mixed media piece of whimsy. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
