For a man ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your weekend is going well. I’ve been playing with some new stamps again and this time colouring with both acrylics and watercolours, but mainly acrylics. I have to say that I am really pleased with the finished look of this card and here is the end result …

An A5 card
It has some depth but not too much
The painted background
I love this pick up!
A final look

Created for me and especially for these Challenges

Creative Artiste Challenge #31 Mixed Media Anything Goes

I tried something new this time. I roughly drew the land, the sky and the sun with watercolour crayons. Once I was happy with the ‘sketched’ element I stamped and embossed the car in position. I did take it further by colouring the scene with my watercolours but it wasn’t as bold as I hoped so I added a layer of matt medium then I coloured with my Pebeo acrylics paints, I actually added another layer of acrylic to the car/pick up and then lines of wax to the sky, so that it looks like there are beautiful sun rays in the sun rise. I added the die cut sentiment and of course I had a left over die cut leaf which I also coloured and added to the scene to give it an extra touch of autumness lol!

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
