Under the sea ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your weekend was a good one and your week has started well. I just had to go back and play with these stamps again, I love them! Here is the end result …

An A5 card
It has some depth but not too much
The lovely stamps
It was really hard to photograph this, the light was bouncing off the embossing powder, however you can just about see the seashell impressions
A final look

Created for me and especially for these Challenges

WOW Embossing Powder Challenge Triple Embossing/UTEE

I actually used a mix of three stamp sets to create this card. On the background (base layer) I only used stamps from Rubber Dance and the main panel was created with both Rubber Dance and a Stampin’ Up stamp set. I really enjoyed playing with these stamps again and I’ve realised that creating crafts with animals, flowers, landscapes, nature, ocean views and under the sea scenes are what I love to stamp and watercolour for cards and other non card projects. I used Brusho Watercolour Crystals and Perfect Perals for the under the sea view and Distress inks and Perfect Pearls for the background paper. I used a Tando chipboard domino which I covered with Versamark ink and then added several layers of embossing powder and once I was happy with the coverage I added another colour of embossing powder and then I stamped into the molten EP/UTEE with two of the Rubber Dance sea shell stamps.

I am so chuffed that this past month I have used up three pots of Perfect Pearls and three H2O watercolours lol! It feels so good to be using very old stash although I have a huge box of supplies that I want to donate if possible, maybe an after school club or Brownie/Guide group. Otherwise they are just going to end up in the bin and in landfill. There are a lot of old ink pads that I no longer use and it would be great if they could make use of it. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
