Autumns hues and flowers ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your week is going well. Another floral card that by sheer luck perfectly matched the stamped and coloured flowers after I had stamped and coloured them and here is that card …

A 145mm square card
It has lovely depth
I didn't manage to capture the shimmer but I promise it is there
A final look

Created for me and especially for these Challenges
Allsorts Challenge #440 Colours of Autumn
Cards Und More Challenge #197 Anything Goes with Red
Craft Stamper Magazine Challenge November TIMI Anything Goes
Dream Valley Challenge #167 Add a Sentiment
Scrapy Land Challenge #78 Anything Goes
I used Crafters Companion and Tutti Designs dies

I was somewhat surprised to find more of the flowers from my first play with one of my newer Leonie stamp sets. However that’s really good because in the long run it means this newer set of stamps will be used just as much as the first two sets. I love it when I purchase a set and it creates better projects that I hoped. On my first card I only used the stamps no patterned paper so I wanted to use patterned paper this time. Luckily this paper and the die cuts perfectly fit the stamped and watercoloured flowers. I used one of my very old patterned papers and I know it was a HOTP set via QVC, must be more than eight years old lol! I am pushing myself to use more patterned paper so finding that these already coloured flowers worked with the paper I was delighted. In fact the design has worked better than I hoped but I do hope I’m not creating old fashioned looking cards though!

After I finished this card I realised that these flower stamps would actually work on Christmas cards especially if I do that lovely deep red so that’s something for me to try when I can or remember to do so. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
