Clean and simple like ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your weekend is going well. I need some thank you cards so I decided to CASE another one of the DT cards over at A Blog Named Hero. This time I steered clear of the Christmas cards and played with pastel colours instead and here is the end result …

A 145mm square card
Great for posting
A final look

Created for me and especially for these Challenges
I CASE’d the cards created by Michelle and Tracy on this post

Butterfly Challenge #90 Handwritten &/ Yellow: I chose to use yellow
Cards Und More Challenge #198 Things with Wings
Deep Ocean Challenge #168 Things with Wings

I am a bit of oddball in that I love bold bright colours and pastel colours too lol! I used watercolour paper on my background piece. I added a layer of water and very lightly brushed watercolour paint onto the paper. Then I stamped and heat embossed the butterfly onto a snippet of white card which I painted with gesso and acrylic paints and then stamped and heat embossed the butterfly stamp onto that: I have one thank you card created and several more are required lol!

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x

This is so lovely! The dreamy pastels and your bold butterfly make a gorgeous combo. Love the blingy embellishments, too.

Thank you so much for joining in the Butterfly Challenge this fortnight...even though you weren't daring enough to do the handwritten portion of the challenge!! Hehehehe...there is still time for a second entry!! :)
