First play with a new stencil set ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your week is going well. I have CASE’d another time one of the cards over at A Blog Named Hero challenge. It is a card I have previously CASE’d but this time I CASE’d it with a Hero Arts stencil instead of a Hero Arts stamp. I don’t know if this is allowed but in the hope that it is here’s my card …

A6 card: - I have to create this again with a different colour die cut
It's great for posting though
And I actually managed to capture the shimmer!

Created for me and especially for these Challenges
I copied Michelle’s card but used richer colours

Happy Little Stampers Dies Challenge

I used Crafters Companion dies

Once again I was inspired by Michelle’s card but I wanted the colours to be richer so I used Kraft card and various acrylic paints. A lot of blending went on and I actually love the finished look. Once I had the colours and look that I wanted on the Kraft card I used gold Luminarte Twinkling H2O watercolours. The background seriously exceeded my expectations and is something I am going to do again soon lol! Once the card dried I wasn’t sure what I was going to use it for until I spied my new set of two Hero Arts stencils.

I cut the Kraft card in half twice and attached one of the stencils to one of the A6 pieces then I tapped through the stencil with my Versamark ink pad. I added opaque white embossing powder from WOW and heated with my gun. I die cut the sentiment from snippets and gave them a clear coat of Spectrum Noir Sparkle and then glued the sentiment and the gems onto my card: simples lol! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x

Love the background on this card Karen! I'm sure it was fine that you used a stencil instead of stamps as well. It is a festive and fun card! Hugs, Brenda
