Merry and multi coloured ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your weekend was a good one and your week has started well. I really wanted to play along with the challenge at A Blog Named Hero and Tracy’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags again and as I’m having fun with this stencil I created a tag and here it is …

Another lovely Christmas tag yay!
It has lovely depth and texture
A final look

Created for me and especially for these Challenges
I was inspired and CASE’d Lisa Stein card here

Allsorts Challenge #442 Inspired by a Christmas Carol/Song:
I was inspired by the Merry & Bright from White Christmas
which is my all time favourite song and the circles remind me of snowballs
Cards Und More Challenge #198 Things with Wings

I was inspired by Tracy’s tag on Day 15 here
the use of multiple colours and white embossing powder

These colours are completely out of my comfort zone for Christmas- but I do love the end result lol! This was really quite quick to create too. I attached the stencil to a piece of card and tapped my Versamark ink pad through. I then removed the stencil and sprinkled the card with white EP. I used my heat tool to set the powder and I left the card to cool. Once it had cooled I applied a layer of clean water and then I used my acrylic paints to colour it and I left it to dry naturally overnight.

I used a coloured snippets of card to die cut the branch and sentiment and then glued them in position. I used my last Martha Stewart bird and coloured it with Pebeo acrylics to look like a robin. I left that to dry and once it had I glued it in position on the branch. Simples and another tag to add to my little pile of Christmas tags lol! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
