December Christmas Card #10 ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your weekend is going well. This is my final Christmas card and I have finished my tags and will be sharing them soon. Here is my card …

I created a 148mm square Christmas card
It was good for posting!
The depth from the texture paste is visible here!

Created for me and especially for these Challenges
Crafty Hazelnut’s Christmas Challenge #364 Anything Goes
Creatalicious Challenge #129 Anything Goes
Creative Artiste Challenge #33 Mixed Media Anything Goes
Winter Wonderland Challenge Anything Christmas Goes

I created this card because I had a printed image and the printed sentiment left over from my House of Cards post at the beginning of the month so I decided to colour it, use several snippets and to give it some mega fluffy texture lol! I used my Luminarte Twinkling H2O watercolours to colour the every other stripe on the stocking and the berries in the holly. Once that was dry I coloured the leaves and the background and I left that to dry overnight, because that was how it happened to be. The next day I used my Viva Decor 3D snow to create mega fluffy texture. Although that hasn’t worked as well as I hoped I do love those little bubbles of texture.

Creating one or two cards each month through this year has worked brilliantly for me and it’s something that I’ll continue for the present. I’ve spent most of December using up left overs and creating mixed media tags which has been fantastic fun. I should now be re-cooperating on the sofa from the Rheumatology appointment I had on Friday. Our gift shopping and most of our food shopping has been delivered and I just have to wrap a couple of Christmas presents and make dessert for Christmas Day/Boxing Day and we’re ready!! Our GP decided that I have to be in isolation from others this year because my immune system is low. The drugs I take to stop the RA ravaging my bones has knocked the stuffing out of my immunity and we found out that little nieces who go to nursery with other little ones are serious germinators lol! So we’re having a very gentle laid back Christmas because my body needs it. I hope you have a fabulously Happy Christmas with your loved ones! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
