for these Challenges
I
got very excited recently when I found what I thought was an old die
that the shop must have misplaced. I
hadn’t realised until I read Kath’s post on Instagram that Tim
Holtz had re-released the Bigz Skates die. The Bigz Skate die is a
die that I have wanted for many years. I have kept an eye out on
ebay and such put the prices some sellers were asking put it well and
truly out of my price range. I can remember seeing one offered for
sale for £35 and no way could I pay that! So I have kept an eye out
hoping that some crafter would get bored of it and pass it on –
with no luck mind! So I was very happy and excited once I knew I purchased one.
In
fact I was so excited to use it that I forgot to add laces to the
skates on this tag and on another one I am going to share soon lol!
I don’t mind that though because I know this is a die that will be
used for many years by me because quite simply I love it lol!
Funnily enough since purchasing this re-release I have managed to
purchase another of Tim’s retired dies that I’m itching to use
too lol! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment.
I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what
you love to do soon ttfn Karen x

Happy for you that you found that ice skate die again! I didn't notice that you had forgotten the laces until I read your text. They look nice without, too! And very nice together with our skate stamp :-) Thank you for joining our Forever Challenge at Rubber Dance! ♥
