A weekend tag ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your weekend is going well. I’ve been playing with my stamp sets mixing up brands and trying to come up with a different look to yesterday’s tag and here is the end result …

Another tag, love making these!
Lots of lovely details
A final look, lots of lovely shimmer and shine

Created for me and especially for these Challenges
Butterfly Challenge #87 X for Xtra Fold &/ Peacock colour
Country View Crafts Challenge Anything Goes

Scrapy Land Challenge #82 Anything Goes
I used Crafters Companion and Tutti Designs dies

Anything Goes with a Stencil not a card

I was wanting to play with this stamp set but to mix it up a bit too by adding butterflies from a different stamp set and the look is completely different to yesterday’s tag which I am very happy about! The sentiments in this Concord & 9th stamp set are going to fit with other stamps and stamp sets that I own too. This year was to be my year of experimenting full throttle and I love how well that has turned out this month, lol! I need to continue with the mixed media experiments, journalling and other projects that are not cards as that seems to be where I am at my happiest and I need to remember that. I did use a stencil to add details to the the background of this tag but I had a major issue in that I loathed the end result. You can still see little bright pops of green acrylic paint on the background and that’s given the tag an extra zing of colour and detail.

I really hope you are having an awesome weekend and getting lots of time to do what you love to do too. I’m a very lucky lady right now! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
