Cold & Frosty ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your weekend is going well. I’m currently working on a journal page with these stamps but I really needed to create something with them and share this weekend so here is the first birthday card I have created with them …

An A5 card
Good to post and great for a male birthday
All the painted and inky details
The upper layer of trees
I managed to photograph some of the shimmer and shine

Created for me and especially for these Challenges
Country View Crafts Challenge Anything Goes
Craft Stamper Magazine Challenge TIMI Anything Goes
Creatalicious Challenge #130 Anything Goes
Frilly & Funkie Challenge Three is not a Crowd

Stamping Sensations Challenge Cold & Frosty Colours

I deliberately created with the following in mind:

Three layers of card;
Three main colours: purple then blue (for the skies) and green for the trees (with little accents of brown);
Three different flourish die cuts to be used for the embellishments;
The trees were stamped three times on each mountain;
The trees were stamped three times once on the bottom layer using Mowed Lawn, then on the second layer using Bundled Sage and again on the second layer with a ghost print.

I created the landscape a couple of days ago, before this stamp set arrived, lol, because I was in the mood to create some landscapes. I used acrylics to paint the landscape and then distress inks for the stamping. I think this is the
way I need to create my landscapes in future as they are much easier to create and layer this way. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
