New stamps ...
Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your week is going well. Before Christmas I won at Happy Little Stampers twice and quite close together and I’m only now getting around to playing with my lovely new stamps and here is one of the first cards I’ve created with one of the lovely new sets …
A 150mm square white card
Fabulous for posting!
Such pretty delicate flowers, I am going to enjoy this set
I managed to capture the sheen from the die cut
Created for me and especially for these Challenges
Allsorts Challenge #450 No Patterned Paper
Butterfly Challenge # One Layer and Ultra Pink:
I can’t stamp/watercolour directly on these card blanks because they warp.
I’ve stamped, heat embossed and coloured on a piece of card that is attached to a card. I was rushing to enter so I didn’t read the details as close as I should have. Please don’t put in for the prize draw Mrs A, I’m playing for fun because I wanted to play along with your first challenge this year.
Country View Crafts Challenge Anything Goes
Craft Stamper Magazine Challenge TIMI Anything Goes
I think my brain just goes where it wants when I start playing with new stamps. The trees that are part of the Reindeer Flight set had me creating mixed media distressed style, I created a very mixed media Christmas card or two over the weekend using a stencil, then I have a, shh quietly, unicorn card with rainbow colours and glitter to share with you much later this week and here is a my type of CAS pink and white card with minimal decoration and very clean in style and finish because I was very careful with my new watercolour pencils and new waterbrushes.
I purchased the waterbrushes just after Christmas because my hubby surprised me with the watercolour pencils Christmas present. The waterbrushes I already owned were over ten years old and were not working very well and I wasn’t sure if it was the brushes or me that was the problem so I purchased a new set which were on special. So happy I did because it turned out that the old brushes were the issue but they had well than earnt their cost. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
