Colour themed card ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your week is going well. I got out a new set of stamps to play with over the weekend and here is the end result …

A 148mm square card
Great to post
All the details
A final look

Created for me and especially for these Challenges
Butterfly Challenge #94 Spin the Wheel for letter C:
I used Cornflower Blue & a Charm
Country View Crafts Challenge Anything But Cute
Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #158 Anything Goes
Creatalicious Challenge #131 Anything Goes
optional twist: love/anniversary/thinking of you
Love to Craft Challenge LTCCB #19 February Anything Goes

I dived into my snippets bags before I started this card because I knew I had some larger white snippets that would fit the stamps perfectly. After I stamped the butterflies I added a water wash around them and dropped little amount of Brusho Crystals onto the card and very gently moved them around with a damp brush. I coloured the butterflies after the background was completely dry and I found the snippet of patterned paper that perfectly fits the colours on the card for the challenges I want to enter. I did add some embellishing as it was a little too stark for me lol.

I really went more in the clean and simple style this time but of course I always have to add the embellishiments or else the card doesn’t look finished to me lol. The heart charm and buttons also happened to pefectly fit the colours and themes too so it really was meant to be for these perfect finishing touches lol! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x

Those butterfly stamps are rather swish. I like your colour combination of them too. Recognise the freebie paper as well as I have some in my stash. Thankyou for spinning the butterfly wheel this week. Hugs Mrs A.
