Dotty ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your week is going well. I’ve been playing with a couple of my Paperbabe stamp sets and a couple of stencils and here is the end result …

A 148mm square card
Okay to post
All the details
The pretty flower stamps
A final look

Created for me and especially for these Challenges
Love to Craft Challenge LTCCB #19 February Anything Goes
Make My Monday Challenge #64 Going Around in Circles
Paperbabe Stamps Challenge #66 Dotty
Retro Rubber Challenge #80 Use Dots or Circles
My stamp sets are about three years old

I must have been in a not mixed media mood when I created this card, lol, no paint in sight all inks or re-inkers lol! I was experimenting with my Paperbabe Because stamp set and although it’s not worked quite how I thought I am happy with the end result. I tried layering different stencils for the first time and that is something I am going to be trying more often as I think the polka dots work beautifully with the dotty background on this card. All the other elements were white card snippets in one of my boxes. So many snippets not enough time lol!

On both the background and the stamped because panel water was sprayed to the inked panels once they had been inked, I am addicted to the slight blurriness you get after you have spreayed water over the Distress ink lol! I also love the beautiful rich orange that the stamped flowers are, thank you Wild Honey. I stamped the flowers onto little snippets then fussy cut them and then decided to use the stamped flowers as an embellishment for a change. I have to admit that Collall 3D glue gel makes the layering and moving around of flowers in this way much easier. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
