Ephemera ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your week was a good one and you have lovely weekend plans. I’ve been playing with some new stamps and stash as well as an old stamp and here is the end result …
A 148mm square card
I'm new to using ephemera but adore it
All the details
The beautiful rose stamp
I'm happy with the end result too

Created for me and especially for these Challenges

Penny Black & More Challenge Love Hearts & Flowers

The new stamp is from a Simon Says Stamps stamp set, the beautiful pink rose, the old stamp is a corner stamp that I used on the bottom layer from La Blanche and that’s a really old stamp but I do love it so much. I used my Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink pad to stamp the corner twice. Once when it was freshly inked up and the second time was after I sprayed it with water from the first stamping, I didn’t re-ink the stamp deliberately and I love, love, love the look it has created. The new stash is the beautiful ephemera that I recently purchased that I am really happy with lol! The only thing I changed with the ephemera was that I edged it with my Peacock Feathers Oxide so that it worked beautifully with my stamped background.

A quick post as this was a reasonably quick to make card: yay! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
