Love the Imperfections aka February Journal #2 ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your weekend is going well. I’ve been playing in my journal pushing myself with layering of stamps, inks and paints and here is the end result …

Part one of another double page!
All the stamped and journaled details
The beautiful hearts
Hammering my point home - love the imperfections
Part two
All the yummy ink and paint details
The other heart half
The whole thing

Created for me and especially for these Challenges

Creating more jouornal pages is my happy place. When I create a card for gifting it has to be perfect, a perfect background and a perfectly stamped topper. I can’t allow myself to be as free as I would like to when creating cards so mixed media projects are at the top of my to do list this year lol! I have learnt that I let things slide in my journal and on my mixed media projects that I never allow to slide when creating cards. So I’m allowing myself the freedom to create errors because I’ve learnt that as a I’m human that happens and that sometimes the imperfections or errors are so much more beautiful and better than the perfect and often those imperfection also shine so much more brightly too.

All of that is how this double page spread came about. I’ve been thinking about this since last month and I realised that I use my MISTI to stamp perfectly straight so I put it to one side and used my rock a blocks with my stamps instead. If you have any questions ask because all that stamping has made my fingers very sore and I can’t type the steps today, lol! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
