I have been dabbling with using multiple packs of stamps on one project for the past month or so and that’s exactly what I did to create this card. I used two Leonie Pujol stamp sets to stamp and cover an A5 piece of white card with a Distress IP so that I could try the no line colouring technique with colouring pencils. I used both my old Derwent Coloursoft pencils and my new Polychromo colouring pencils which I am loving lol! The Polychromos blend beautifully and for my first play with them I am quite happy. Although I am hoping that with use and practice my pencil colouring will improve. After I had stamped and coloured the flowers and dragonfly I decided to add the fly free phrase and there was enough room for me to stamp it directly onto the background. After I stamped that incorrectly I stamped the phrase again onto a die cut stitched banner using Versafine and on the second occasion it stamped perfectly, which is so very very typical!

Hubby reckons that he can see a difference already and that I have coloured this piece better than anything I have coloured for a while so that’s good, at least I think it is! I am planning on stamping quite a few flower projects because I want to practice the colouring much more but I will try and use different stamps so that you and I don’t become bored lol! The best thing about this is that I get to use several of my all time favourite stamp sets because I love my flower stamps a lot. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
