A beautiful ginger puddy ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your weekend was a good one and your week has started well. I’ve been playing with a new Penny Black cling stamp, seeing how it coloured and what I could create with it and here it is …

A watercolour tag for a change!
I love the texture and depth the forget me not flowers add to my tag
The stamped and stencilled panel
The sparkle from the windows and sequins

Created for me and especially for these Challenges

For many many years I have loved ginger cats and as soon as I received this stamp I knew that the first time I was going to colour the cat in shades of ginger. I cut card to size once I had stamped the image. I used watercolour paints to colour the whole image and once that was dry I attached a stencil and used an ink blending tool with foam to colour the bricks the around the image.

I dcided I wanted to add more details to my postcard at this poing so I attached it to a tag so that I could embellish around and over it. I added a cherry tree branch with leaves and cheery blossoms just above the postcard as well as over it. I used Glossy Accents to make the stamped window look glassy. I added sequins to the postcard and off the postcard. I felt that there something still missing so I added very old gold trim to the bottom of the postcard. I am reasonably pleased with the end result and look forward to colouring this cat in many other colours and mixes of colour. There will be a grey cat, a black and white cat, a black cat, a tortoiseshell cat and many more gingers cats lol! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
