Butterfly snippets ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your weekend was a good one and your week has started well. I’m sneaking in with an unplanned post because I suddenly realised that one of my favourite challenges is ending soon so here is another postcard but in shades of spring …

I love the rich colours on this card
It looks so realistic
All the yummy details

Created for me and especially for these Challenges
Butterfly Challenge #96 Spin the Butterfly Wheel with the letter N:
I chose Naples Yellow and not square

I’m also sharing this with

Time Out Challenge #104 Bold

The card for this postcard was a coloured piece left over from another project A4 white card coloured with Distress re-inkers. I have been trying to control where the ink or Brusho watercolour crystal goes. I need to do this as I’ve been ending up with muddy brown way too often! I am rather pleased that I’ve finally figured out how to control where the colour goes or where I want the colour to go lol! I stamped the butterfly onto another white snippet and coloured him with watercolours and acrylics so he is beautifully coloured and fussy cut him from my white snippet. Once I was happy with my background I added splats of blue paint and then glued the butterfly in position. Simples lol! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
