April Tag #4 ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your week is going well. I’ve been playing with my stamps and stencils and I created what I think is a beautifiul tag and here it is …

A mixed media tag, incorporating acrylic paints, distress re-inkers, ink pads, resist spray, watercolour paints, a stencil and two stamps - not too much then lol!
Lots of lovely depth and texture
All the details
The beautiful bird
I managed to capture some of the sparkle

Created for me and especially for these Challenges
Allsorts Challenge #464 Pearls
Creatalicious Challenge #137 Anything Goes

Penny Black Saturday Challenge Anything Goes optional spring flowers
Simon Says Stamps Monday Challenge Flower Power
Southern Girls Challenge Triple F: I went with florals
Wednesday’s Creative Inspirations Challenge April Springtime

After creating this tag I’ve now realised I want to create a canvas just like this too. I’m just not sure I can do it or if it’s in my skills to do it lol! I love the lovely softs pinks and lilacs on the background tag and then the two layers of stamping on the white watercolour paper gives it interest and makes that stamped panel really pop. I used one of my air dry clay birds and even as I am typing this my brain is whirring away trying to figure out a way to have the stamping and the background on the one panel – I have to go play now lol!

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
