Butterflies & Snippets #2 ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your week is going well. I’m trying to clear my stash of stamped images, lol, as well as the never ending battle to keep up with using my snippets. My snippet today is unusual but I thought it would work beautifully for a card front too so here it is …

I created a 148mm square card
Not too deep so I can post it
I love how the light bounces off the the paint that I used on the stamp

Created for me and especially for these Challenges
Allsorts Challenge #463 Spring Flowers
Butterfly Challenge #99 Spin the Wheel with the letter D:
I went for Denim Blue and Die Cut
Creatalicious Challenge #136 Anything Goes
Creative Fingers Challenge #144 Anything Goes

I was inspired by the colours on the moodboard

Penny Black Saturday Challenge Anything Goes optional spring flowers

The napkin was a snippet from another project and it is heavily textured. However it is pretty enough that I didn’t want to bin it and I realised it would cover the front of a card. Looking through my stamped images box I found this stamped flower in the perfect colour for the napkin. Patterned paper snippets were used for die cutting the butterflies and the chipboard embellishment is a recent old stash re-find that again was in the perfect colour for the napkin.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
