Beside the sea #2 ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your week is going well. After decorating the monolith that I shared yesterday I decided I needed to make a matching card too, lol, and here it is …

A 5" x 7" card
Lots of lovely texture and depth
The beautiful seahorses
The beautiful shimmering seahorses

Created for me and especially for these Challenges

Visible Image Stamps Facebook May Link Your Projects

I used distress ink pads along with Visible Image fibres stencil to add detail to a piece of white card. Once I had inked it up I sprayed it with water and heat dried the ink.
I stamped the seahorses onto snippets of white card using Versafine black ink pad. Once the black ink had dried, very quickly, I inked up the seahorse again with Pebeo Dyna paints and overstamped onto the black to colour the beautiful seahorses. I fussy cut the seahorses and put them aside.
I attached the stencilled card onto my card blank and trimmed it where necessary. I stamped the sentiment and bubbles.
I glued one of the seahorses onto the left hand side of the card. I attached a piece of white mesh fabric onto the right hand side of the card using 3D glue gel. I shaped the second seahorse with my fingers to round it then glued it over the fabric, using the 3D glue gel again.
I glued the beads and resin bling circles onto the card and now I have a matching birthday card to match the seahorse monlith!

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
