Happy Birthday ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your week is going well. I’ve been playing with a couple of new stamps and they were stamps that I purchased especially for a little girls birthday and here is the card I created for her …

An A5 card for a change
I couldn't let it get too deep because of posting
All the lovely details
I couldn't capture the shimmer but it is there!

Created for me and especially for these Challenges

I thought the DT at Allsorts Challenge might like this card!

Inspired by a Song: Happy Birthday!
Use more than one stamp: I used three

I had so much fun creating this card and if I’m being honest these stamps are stamps that I have wanted for a while lol! I don’t often do Pixie’s or Faeries but I adore the Lavinia Stamps images and love the world of make believe you can create with them. Because our special girl is two years old I thought keeping this bright would be the best way to go.

I don’t often make children’s cards so I’m not completely at ease with what you should use or if there are certain images you should use because they are age appropriate. It’s a real learning curve but one I don’t mind taking if I get to play with my Lavinia stamps every so often lol! Of course in a couple of months there is going to be another little one to make cards for and we’re really looking forward to that occasion too. It also means I’ll get to make more childrens cards which is good practice lol!

We’re hoping to get down to visit the family soon too, I’ve just not been up to that trip and we can’t have the little one here at the moment as there is so much stuff we are trying to sort out. Because we don’t have children we’ve never had to worry about child proofing the house and an energetic two year old let loose among my craft supplies and hubby’s tools and computers is not a good idea lol! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
