Week of Snippets #4 ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your week is going well. I’m back with another snippets project and for this one I used a lovely new stamp that was an Ebay bargain lol, lovely to colour it was because it’s a jumbo stamp and here is my card …

A 148mm square card
It has some depth
The beautiful flower stamp
I'm loving this giant flower stamp

Created for me and especially for these Challenges
Allsorts Challenge #467 In the Pink

Joy Clair Challenge & Inspiration May

Time Out Challenge Inspired by these words:
Friends are the charming gardeners
who make our Souls Blossom

The background layer on this card was left over from another project, I used a small La Blanche stamp to stamp script the whole way across the card using Distress ink and once covered I lightly sprayed with water before drying with my heat tool. I stamped the flower twice onto white card snippets using a very pale ink pad and then I coloured the flowers with a mixture of Distress re-inkers, Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens and Sakura gel pens. I left the stamped and coloured flowers to dry overnight, thankfully it was that time of day when I stamped them, then the next day I coloured the background of one with Distress re-inkers and fussy cut the other so that I could decoupage it. I really wanted the flower to be the star of this card so I only added a simple pink velvet bow to the card once I had glued the stamped and decoupaged flower panel onto it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x

Very pretty - the beautifully coloured fuchsia bloom really pops against the brilliant blue background. The added details of the text bg and velvet ribbon really complete the card. Thanks for playing along with us at Time Out! Jill
