Wisteria and Wings ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your week is going well. We just got back from a mini break visiting my mum, brother, sister in law and niece, it was so very very good to see them! I’ve been playing with one new stamp and using an older one too and here is the end result …

I am in the mood to create A5 cards for some reason right now!
This one is great for posting!
The glorious inky details
Sheena's hummingbird and wisteria stamps a little closer up
You can see some of the shine from the H2O watercolours!

Created for me and especially for these Challenges

That’s Crafty Challenge A Summer’s Day

The new stamp is the wisteria and it’s one of Sheena’s new flower stamps and as soon as I saw it I knew I had to purchase it. The hummingbird is from one of Sheena’s older sets of stamps and I thought it would work beautifully with the wisteria stamp and it does. I used inks, Luminarte H2O watercolours, Pebeo Dyna acrylic paints, Distress re-inkers and my Sakura sparkle pens lol! I deliberately kept the card quite clean and simple only adding a sentiment, lace and several sequins because I wanted these stamps to be the star of the show and luckily for me they are.

We had awesome weather whilst away for a few days but as per usual with extreme heat in the country I couldn’t sit out in it, I get way too hot and bothered for that lol! It was nice that the weather was good for a change though and yet for some odd reason I appear to have caught a summer cold which I am not overly happy about. However we are home now and as much as I love spending time with my family it feels good to be back and to know that we’ll sleep more comfortably tonight in our own bed lol! I have new toys to play with too so I’m itching to get some stamping and creating done. I have missed not being able to create anything much! I really am a crafty stamp addict! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x

Love the depth of colour you've achieved here, and so pretty too. Thanks so much for linking up at Happy Little Stampers, although the CAS challenge calls for lots of open/non-patterned space so this is a little busy for that challege. But it's perfect for the Watercolour and Dies challenge. Thanks for playing along, Anita x
