Into the woods ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your week is going well. I’ve a new stamp set, lol, and no I haven’t been spoilt by my husband this time lol! As soon as I saw this set I knew I had to have it and here is the first card I’ve created with these stamps …

A 5" x 7" card
Great for posting too
The landscape stamps
The lights in the north are shining!

Created for me and especially for these Challenges
Creatalicious Challenge #143 Anything Goes

Simon Says Stamps Monday Challenge Add a little sparkle:
I added gold wax to the stencilled panel and gold AquaTints to the sky
Visible Image Stamps Facebook

I used three different sized snippets to create this card. On the largest snippet I attached the stencil and then used rub on waxes which are from my very old supplies pile, thankfully shrinking by the day. On the second largest snippet I stamped the furthest landscape with grey Versafine and then stamped the nearest landscape with Versafine black ink pad. There are two landscapes in this set so that you can create a sense of depth and shadow – love, love, love!!! Once the ink was dry I coloured the landscape with my Spectrum Noir AquaTints and left it to dry. Hunting through the snippets piles I found the stamped and coloured punched sentiment which worked perfectly with the landscape so I decided to use it.

I attached the stencilled background then the mesh fabric to my card and the stamped panel and stamped sentiment. A nice birthday card that is perfect for the men in the family lol! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
