House of Cards December, end of term and our final challenge ...

Hello my lovely friends and visitors, I hope your weekend has begun well. I’m back with my House Of Cards post today and for this month once again we have a choice for you. You can either use the photograph or use the colours in the photograph and here is the photograph …

I was inspired by both the phograph and the colour palette and here is my card …
An A5 card
Will need to be hand delivered
All the details
The beautiful Poinsettia from Beccy's Place
A final look and you can see the shine on the embossed card

Here is the link to our blog:

For this final challenge we are sponsored by Beccy’s Place and there is a lovely prize up for grabs but you need to go to the main blog, do the blog hop and then enter a card of your own. It is with mixed feelings that I tell you that the House of Cards Challenge blog will be finishing after the end of this challenge. I have to admit I had already handed in my notice at the challenge before I knew that the challenge was closing because I have been rather unwell for the last month or so and that was why I was resigning.

So for this last challenge I put my all into creating a really beautiful Christmas card so that we go out with a bang, so to speak lol! So I grabbed my glycerine and my gold Spectrum Noir AquaTints and created a golden pearl background which once dried I dry embossed. Sequins, a flower with a pearly centre and die cut leaves were the finishing touches and I am over the moon with how beautifully this card has turned out. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and comment. I really do appreciate it and I hope you get some time to do what you love to do soon ttfn Karen x
